You can create shortcut by select using app or just use share via functionality of your device.
when file no longer exists on disk you can also clean up these empty files from list.
The icon use for different file is looks great.
In case of image/video it creates thumbnails for it.

This app needs Storage permission for creating shortcut on Home screen in android phone.
This app also take Contact Permission which is used for only creating shortcut on Launcher Screen.
User data not uploaded to anywhere or not modified at all.
